He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon Bernier and Anna Cloutier Bernier; his grandson Garrett Lee Remington; and his siblings, Simone Bernier, Anne Marie Pelletier and Raymond Bernier (Sam).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa L. Karkos; his children, Linda A. Remington of Oklahoma and Ronald R. Bernier of Boston; his sister Rita Bernier of Brunswick; and his granddaughter Amy Lynn Remington of Oklahoma. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
