We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2022, at the age of 34, Katherine Marie Fritzsche-Peterson of Brunswick, Maine, born in Portland, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Paul Fritzsche and Anne Rodier; her husband Lars Fritzsche-Peterson; her siblings, Tom, Marie and Steven Fritzsche; and her siblings-in-law, Leah Lotto and Mike Cahill. She is also survived by extended family, and many friends.
She provided research and data analysis to guide Maine's Covid response, which was among the safest in the nation.
In lieu of flowers, Kate encourages her loved ones to make donations to the American Brain Tumor Association.
