He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arvids Apse and Gaida Apse; his wife Astrida; his children, Colin (Rachelle), Kira (Jeremy) and Stefan (Leigh); and his grandchildren, Margot, Tobin, Graeme, Mara and Miles.
