He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Daniel Redwine Sr. (Dan) and Hazel Louise Slaughter (Gog); and his brother Hal Redwine (Macky). He is survived by: his wife Kate Bertles; his son James Daniel Redwine III (Jamie); his siblings, Margaret "Teen" Timberlake (Timothy) and Craighill Redwine (Helen); and his children, Lisel, Stephanie, Katybel, Sarah, Nate and Hannah. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
