She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna and George; her stepfather Robert Lavallee; her siblings, Robert Lavallee Jr. and Nancy Holt; and her son Stephan Paul.
She is survived by: her husband John Ruby III; her brother Don Holt; her stepsiblings, Peter Lavallee and Connie Giles; and her children, Debra (Ed), Bud (Kim), Brenda (John), Tammy (Chris) and Lisa (Tom). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
