He is survived by: his children, Stephan Schwanauer (Virginia) of Texas and Miriam Schwanauer of Maine; his sister Elizabeth Butry of California; and his grandchildren, Caroline Nash (Mike) of Idaho, Celia Faux of West Virginia, Stella Faux of Massachusetts and Claire Schwanauer of Texas.
