He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virginia Lucas (Pinkham) and Paul Lucas; his great-uncle Gustavus Getchell; his great-aunt Georgia Getchell; his wife Peggy; his children, Gus Lucas (Kumari), Shelley Thomas (Samuel) of Fortson, GA and Carrie Withers (Wesley); his grandchildren, Steven, Timothy Thomas, Jared Withers, Anna and Christopher Lucas; and his siblings, Paulette Canonico (Topsham), Jo Anne Aguero, Jerel Lucas and Martha Hermance.
