It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia J. McCarty of Brunswick, Maine, born in Bath, Maine, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard L. Johnson and Elsie M. Johnson (Mugnai); and her brother Burleigh Preston. She is survived by: her daughters, Jessica L. Morrison (Jeff) of Georgetown, Jennifer Filippone (Giovanni) and Jamie Johnson (Jared) of Smithfield, NC; her stepchildren, Amber Howe-McCarty of San Francisco, CA and Jasper McCarty of Sausalito, CA; her siblings, Michael Preston, Karen Griffin, Marie Foster (Milo), Susan, Alice Quinn, Frances Hlavaty, Donna Johnson Moran and Betty Johnson (Randy Lang); and also Sonya Elwell (Nate) of Freeport, FL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
