She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Mendieta of Brunswick; her stepchildren, Sharon Clark of Greene and Willard H. Simmons of Greene; and her sister Marie Furlong of Wiscasset. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
