It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Cote (Brunswick, Maine), who passed away on January 5, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Morgan and Thelma Brockett Morgan; her siblings, Kenneth Morgan, Shirley Billington and Caroline King; and her nephew Charles King.
She is survived by: her former spouse Gene S. Coffin; her husband Ivan Cote of Bath; her children, Melanie (Clint Wallace) of Woolwich, Tracy (Don Gillam) of Phippsburg and Gene S. Coffin II of Bath; her siblings, Jeanie (Myron Pennell) of Cundy's Harbor, Maurice Morgan (Veronica) of Harpswell and Philip Morgan of Brunswick; her grandchildren, Zane Wallace, Laurel Gates of Woolwich, Megan Wallace (Josh Delong) of Woolwich, Kendra (Seth Rolfe) of Cary, NC, Adara Gillam (David Tucci II) of Phippsburg, Dain Gillam (Meridith Simpson) of Dresden, Drake Gillam (Kiara Allen) of Phippsburg, Nicholas Gillam of Sebasco Estates and Jason Gillam of Bath; and her great grandchildren, Asa, Lyric, Andreya, Brynn, Emmalyn, Jace, Ava, Bran and Faith. She is also survived by her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her sister Jeanie and her great-grandchildren.
