He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Pitteroff, and Marlene Pitteroff, Jr.; and his siblings, Diana Schmotzer and George. He is survived by: his wife Christine Pitteroff (Toner); his children, Andrew "Drew" Pitteroff (Ange) and Audrey Lofgren (Whitney); his grandchildren, Adelaide and James Pitteroff; his siblings, Douglas Pitteroff, Debra Lewis (Ed) and Dana Pitteroff; and his sister-in-law Judy Mills (Deacon Thom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
