He is survived by: his son George C. Thing Jr.; his wife Eileen of Exeter, NH; his children, Kathleen A. Lewis (Patrick) of Brownfield, ME, William P. Thing of Wilmington and Daniel F. Thing (Bonnie) of Melrose, MA; and his brother Edwin Talbot of Clearwater, FL.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 Great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, it would have been George's desire to have donations be made to a charitable organization of one's choice.
