A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Brooks, Brooks (22 Veterans Hwy, Brooks, ME 04921). He shared his love of reading aloud with his children and grandchildren, and during the COVID pandemic, read stories and posted them online - these videos were enjoyed by his grandchildren and also the children of many of his former students far and wide.
