He was predeceased by: his parents, Mollie Cohen (Freedman) and Bennett Cohen; his children, Peter B. Hoagland and Lydia Cohen Wallstrom; his brother-in-law Morris Sloane; and his son-in-law Peter Stuart.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hart Hoagland; his children, Holland Hoagland, Jan Hoagland and Ben Hoagland Peri Cohen (Carol); and his sister Shirley Sloane. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild.
