It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin Lachtara of Bridgton, Maine, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Lachtara and Rose Lachtara (Balydga); and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Lachtara (Haskell); his children, Erin Lachtara (April), Lee Lachtara and Steve Lachtara (Jessica); his siblings, Stanley Lachtara, June Swank (Tom), John (Michelle) and Marianne McCue (John); and his grandchildren, Ryann, Kole and Dustin.
