He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Taft and Almira Taft; his children, Dawn Taft and Douglas A. Taft, Jr. of Bridgton; his adoptive daughter Dayna Lea Shulack (Linda Mercer); and his former wife Patricia Taft.
