He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McLaughlin and May McLaughlin Sr.; his wife Ethel; his children, Carolyn Smith (Patricia B.) and Charles III; and his granddaughter Jennifer Monteiro.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy O'Neil (Bill); his grandchildren, Kelly O'Neil-Wilson (Spenser), Patrick O'Neil and Fallon Monteiro; and his great grandchildren, Kamuy O'Neil, Soma O'Neil and Bodhi Flores.
