Black of Brewer, Maine, born in Dixmont, Maine, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Knowlton and Fannie Knowlton; and her siblings, Bob, Ernie, Rodney "Jack", Althea and Ruth.

She is survived by: her children, Lois Newman of Point Pleasant, NJ, Lloyd Black, Jr. (Donna) of Newport and Geraldine Black of Brewer; her grandchildren, Lois Ann Stinson, Danielle Norwood and Lawrence Newman; her siblings, Madelia "Babe" and Roger Knowlton; and her niece Kathy Knowlton. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
