With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shawn Maurice McCue of Brewer, Maine, born in Belfast, Maine, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 28. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his uncle Shawn Carroll; his grandmother Shirley; his cousins, Kenny and Phil; his aunts, Carol Gardiner and Tammy; and his pet Buddy.

He is survived by: his parents, Jennifer Carroll of Bangor and Eric Carroll (Dallas McCue); his grandparents, Kenneth McCue of Hermon, Laura Gardiner of Brewer, Leon Armstrong, Pam Barker of Knox, Eugene and Bernice Carroll Jr. of Greenbush; his siblings, Sebastian (Elizabeth Peters), Lindsay Harford (Amy Lee), Logan Violette of Old Town and Jacob Harford (Kayla Smith); his nephew Remington; and his nieces, Raelynn of Searsmont and Rylee (Jack Conant). He is also survived by many great-aunts, uncles and friends.
