She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edgar Driscoll, Jr.; her mother Mildred Melvin of Bangor; her child Shirley; her father Floyd Melvin, Sr.; her daughters, Amanda Vieira of Gorham and Wendy (Dana); her friend Carrabassett Valley; her grandson Tucker (Kayla); her friends, Watertown and Wilson; and her brother Floyd Melvin, Jr. of Bangor.

Due to the current pandemic conditions a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Ruby was an advocate for the Alzheimer's Association, sharing her wisdom and compassion for being a care giver with others.
