He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester and Ethel Brooks (Green); and his siblings, Ernest, Billy, Mary, Joan, Louise and Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Brooks (Marcel Bastide) of Orrington, Susan Houp (Richard) of Brewer and Jeffrey Brooks of Orrington; his granddaughters, McKenzie Brock (Jeremy) of Hermon and Lindsay Houp of Boston; his great grandchildren, Griffin and Pierce Brock; and his siblings, Ruth Deshane of Old Town, June Conley of Skowhegan, Avis Cote of Veazie, Jean Wetherell of Cranford, NJ and David Brooks (Edith) of Bangor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
