With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard H. Fernald of Brewer, Maine, born in Winterport, Maine, who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard H. Fernald to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Denise L. Fernald (Deveau); his parents, Fredrick Fernald and Anna Fernald (Downes); and his siblings, Carl, William Fernald and Maryanna Moran.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Fernald, Jr. of Bedford, MA, Alisa Tucker (Mark) of Orono, Teresa Flanagan (Christopher) of Murfreesboro, TN and Michele Francis (Calvin) of Old Town; his grandchildren, Justin Francis (Brittney Fields) of Old Town, Tyler Francis of Old Town, Paige and Haley Flanagan of Murfreesboro, TN; and his great grandchildren, Derek "DJ" Francis and Arianna Francis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
