He is survived by: his wife Shirley Howard (Drake) of Brewer; his children, Paul Howard (Deb) of Dinwiddie, Valerie Fitzpatrick (Mark) of Littleton and Robin Boutilier (Hadley) of Houlton; his stepchildren, Tim Brooks Ct (Maureen), Tom Brooks (Missy) of Pa, Kristie Charette (John) of Me, Julie Hersom and David Brooks of Me; and his siblings, Bobby Howard (Erlene), Steven Howard (Cathy) of Bangor, Dorothy Rand Sherman, Joyce Merry of Sherman, Richard Porter of Island Falls and Mary Harris (Peter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
