She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Dunleavy and Mary H. Dunleavy; her husband Elmer; her sisters, Margaret Dunleavy (Peggy) and Eileen D. Knott; and her granddaughter Sophie Bunker Hodgkins.
She is survived by: her brother Jack Dunleavy (Helen); and her children, Mary Wallace, Jean Whitaker (Daryl) and Michael Hodgkins (Kim). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maureen's memory to Woodlawn (the Black House) 19 Black House Drive, Ellsworth ME 04605 where Maureen's grandparents James and Hannah Dunleavy were caretakers for many years and where her father was raised.
