With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Louise Blethen (Brewer, Maine), who passed away on June 19, 2018 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Barnes and Winnifred Barnes; and her brothers, Bunky and Ron. She is survived by: her significant other Chip Blethen; her husband Chip; her daughters, Stacy Thompson and Melissa Clark (Kenny); her grandchildren, Michael Chasson (Erin), Allison Thompson, Elizabeth Clark and Joshua Clark; her great grandchild Maddie Joan; her mother-in-law Elizabeth Blethen; her siblings-in-law, Connie Leppert, Marilyn Brewer (Jerome), Douglas Blethen (Patricia), Diane Breeding (Flint) and Matthew Blethen (Rebecca); her close friends, Robert Thompson and Diane Smith; and also Lloyd Blethen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
