He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alton Avery and Beryl Avery (Corson); his friend Carla Small (Stephen) of Bingham; his brothers, Elton Avery (Joanna) of Athens, Sanford Avery (Phyllis) of Athens and David Avery (Edna) of Athens; his long time housemate Ada York; and his sister Marie.
