Ellen Sherman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 88, Ellen Sherman of Brewer, Maine passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen Sherman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Toner and Mary'Mamie' Toner (West); her husband Edwin J. Sherman; her grandson Taylor M. Tompkins; and her siblings, Owen, Cletus, Joyner Toner, Bernadine McGrath, Theresa Stoddard, Sr., Elaine Toner, Sr., Ada Toner and Grace Grant.
She is survived by: her son Jerry C.; her daughter-in-law Lisa Sherman of Brewer; her daughter Natalie; her son-in-law Mike Cyr of Fort Fairfield; her siblings, Clarence Toner (New Brunswick) of Grand Falls and Betty Doak (Ronnie) of Scarbrough; her grandchildren, Chelsea Kirk (Caleb) of Glenburn and Ally Burditt (Noah) of Orono; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Cami Kirk, River and Ryder Burditt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service (144 Main St, Fort Fairfield, ME 04742). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Denis Catholic Church (147 Main St, Fort Fairfield, ME 04742).
