It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas F. Avery (Brewer, Maine), born in Lubec, Maine, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Avery and Ruby Avery; and his siblings, Paul Avery and Henrietta Sue "Sally" Avery. He is survived by: his wife Donna (Ingersoll) of Brewer; his children, Melissa F. Burns of Bangor and Darren R. Avery (Emily) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Josiah Burns, Addison, Owen and Hayden Avery; his sister-in-law Hazel Avery; his nephews, Dana Avery and Gregg Avery (Rosie); his niece Joan Avery; and his cousins, Wayne Mills and Hattiesue Frail.
