He was predeceased by: his parents, Allison Briggs and Louise Briggs (Whitney); and his pet Nutmeg. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his sons, Erik A. Briggs (Rena) of Framingham, MA and Nathan P. Briggs (Molly) of Hampden, ME; his granddaughters, Addison Marie Briggs and Makenzie Ella Briggs; and his siblings, Bryan Briggs (Debbie Walls-Briggs), Gary Briggs (Tammy Ruuk Briggs) and Gayle Briggs (Joseph Sukaskas).

Due to Covid, a celebration of Daryl's life will be held sometime in the future.
