With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Hurd Jr. of Bradford, Maine, born in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on October 27, 2021 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Richard E. Hurd Sr. of Bradford and Madeliene Hurd Huntington (Newell) of Augusta; his sisters, Sheila Wickett (Calvin Borsch) of Florida and Hope Wiles (David Jr.) of Milford; his stepsiblings, Charla Burnett (Chris), Lorna Parker (Donald), Robert and Fred Day; and his close friend Anna Roman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
