He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Acker and Mary Acker; his son David; and his sisters, Marjorie Acker Lawrence and Harriet Acker Randall.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Allen Acker; his daughter-in-law Barbara Acker of Bowdoinham, ME; his children, Edward of Largo, FL., Kenneth of Scarborough, ME., Douglas, Patricia and Acker-Bailey of Mechanicsburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Allen Acker, Jesse Bailey, Carey Bailey Myers, Zachary Acker, Kristin Acker, Ben Acker and Megan Acker; his great grandchildren, Nella Acker, Maeve Acker, Henry Acker, Harper Myers IV, Lily and Jade; his friends, Dari, Bruce and Jade Hurley; and his brother-in-law Clifford Randall of Shapleigh, ME.. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
