He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley Leach and Eva Leach (Closson); and his siblings, Claribel Thomas, Elizabeth Ames, Jeannette Anderson, Avis Achorn, Edwin Leach and Melvin Leach.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Leach (Jepson); his son Bruce Leach Jr. of Westbrook; and his sister Carol Gilbert of Waterford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
