He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Lewis and Mabel Barter Lewis; his wife Barbara Lewis; his stepdaughter Jane Blake Ross; and his siblings, Roland, Elmer, Alfred, Harlan, Donald Lewis and Myrtle Pickard.
He is survived by: his sister Jessie Lewis Steeves of Boothbay; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Blake Karpe (Raymond) of Manchester, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Blake Karpe (Kathleen) of Falmouth, Jeffrey Potter (Tyra) of Everett, Joel Potter (Elizabeth) of Lake Stevens, Jay Potter (Lisa) of Catoosa, James Potter of Winter Spring, Florida and Diann Riley; his nephew Gary Lewis; his caregiver Trish Monroe; his cousin Neil Murphy of Andrew's Village; and also Mary Lewis Wood. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
