He was predeceased by: his daughter Sierra. He is survived by: his daughter Chelsea; his brothers, Bobby, Kenny (Amber) and Gary (Lee); and his close friend Bijoux. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

“So very sad to hear of Doug's passing. I was stuck on a long trip and started thinking of Maine days passed. I remember how you and Doug loved cigars so I stopped and bought some high end smokes. When I went looking for your address I came across the obit. You and Doug have always been in my heart and I feel you played a big part in ! my maturity as a good person.
