She was loved and cherished by many people including: her aunt Ida; her uncle Leo Butterfield; and her spouse Clark Hathaway Gowen.

In lieu of flowers, if one wishes donations may be made in her memory to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter (now Midcoast Humane Society) 190 Pleasant Street, Brunswick, Maine 04011.
