It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph O. Stover (Boothbay Harbor, Maine), born in Bath, Maine, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Stover and Margaret Mullaney Stover; his brothers, John and Eugene Jr.; and his niece Robin Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Stover; his sons, Michael Wood (Valerie Artzer), Mark Stover (Bonnie) and Dardo Miguel Gutierrez of Salsa; his grandchildren, Stephen Wood and Brittany Wood Maloney (Randy); his great grandchildren, Spencer Wood, Saylor, Saydi and Riverann Maloney; his nephew John Coady; and his nieces, Kelly Coady, Kathy Vallaincourt and Candace Dorman. He is also survived by many extended family, dear friends, and neighbors.
