He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hale and Iza Cramp Hale; and his wife Fran. He is survived by: his children, Sonia Hale-Waterman and Robert Hale (Joyce); his grandchildren, Alexandra Hale-Waterman of Cumberland, Molly of Cumberland, Keegan of Cumberland and Bradyn Hale of Cumberland; his brother Wayne Hale of Portland; and his brother-in-law Robert Hawkes of Boxford, Massachusetts. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
