He was predeceased by: his sister Sally Ann Schopper; his nephew Frederick Schopper; and his wife Alice Margaret Trask. He is survived by: his children, Elaine (Charles) of Maine, Brian (Lisa) of Maine, John (Berit) of Maine and James (Suzanne) of Maine; his grandchildren, Ahren (Katie) of Maine, Annaliese (Dan) of Maine, Claire (Ben) of Maine, Emily (Ben) of Maine, Karamea of United Kingdome, Katja of New Zealand, Jacob, Ellen of Washington, Gracie and Emerson of New York City; his great grandchildren, Finn, Charlotte, Margaret, Wilhelmina and Georgiana; and his nieces and nephews, Stephen Racz, Kenneth Schopper, Pamela Trask Boucher, Mary Alice Racz and Susan Racz Gagnon.
