He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chapman and Evelyn Chapman (Nelson); and his wife Dixie Chapman. He is survived by: his sons, James A. B. Chapman (Mayela) of Missouri City and John D. Chapman (April) of Blue Hill; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Alexander and Evan.
