He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurier Petit and Donaldine Petit (Lahey); and his brother Donald Petit. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Petit (Nield) of Biddeford; his daughters, Kim Cummings of Wilmington, MA and Nancy Petit of South Portland; his grandchildren, James Russell Cummings of Brockton, MA and Carissa Lynn Cummings of Wilmington, MA; and his great grandchildren, Elliot and Silas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
