He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Nadeau and Laurette Belanger; his wife Helen P. Nadeau (Chabot); his siblings, Jackie Nadeau, Paul Nadeau, Joanne Precourt (David) and Richard Nadeau (Rich Jasperson); his children, Dawn Pooler (Philip) and Mathieu Nadeau (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Tori Leach (Ralph), Zachary Nadeau and Abigail Nadeau; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella Nadeau, Shelby Leach and Benjamin Leach. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
