He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milan Scammon and Ruth Scammon; his wife Sharon Scammon; the mother of his children Annette Moore; his children, Ronald Scammon Jr., Micheal Moore, Linda Scammon, Laurie Montgomery, Theresa Burgess and Paula Rohrbaugh; his nieces, Shiela LeRose and Darlene Early; his nephew Bruce Dawley; his friend Kristine Provencher; and also Patrick Scammon. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
