It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renald R. Berard of Biddeford, Maine, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Renald R. Berard to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Berard and Beatrice Berard (Gagne); and his siblings, Patrice Berard, Marcel Berard, Jean Paul Berard, Urgel Berard and Genevieve Berard.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Blais; his children, Denise Burchill (Ernie), Christine Cote (Jack Bogard), Celeste Coughlin, Mark Berard (Jennifer) and Cherry-Marie Chretien (Scott); his grandchildren, Danielle (Pumpkin), Michael (Pudge), Ashley (Papoune), Alissa (Petunia), Chelsey (Poopsie Pop), Kurtis (Papoose), Zachary (Pitou), Alexis (Precious), Bailey (Poohbay), Eryn (Peach) and Noah (Pep); his great grandchildren, Maxon (Panda), Sophia (Princess), Parker (Peanut), Henry (Prince), Blayke (Poppy) and Layne (Pepito); his sisters, Muriel Croteau and Priscille Croteau; and his extended family, Ryan (Putter), Jared (Patriot), Joe (Pistol Pete) and Liz (Pepper). He is also survived by several stepsisters and stepbrothers from Canada and many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cote Funeral Home Chapel (87 James St, Saco, ME 04072). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (178 Elm St, Biddeford, ME 04005).
