He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Turgeon and Leda Turgeon (Beaulieu); his family Charles R. Turgeon; his brother Normand Turgeon; his wife Dorothy; his children, Sandra Allison, Jackie Unsworth (David) and Catherine Lambert; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Samantha, Michael, Krista, Timothy, Darlena, Lenny, Raymond and Joseph; his sister Rachel Dube; and his niece Karen. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
