He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nicholas and Lucy Lamb Nicholas; his wife Barbara Kearney Nicholas; and his sisters, Jean Nicholas, Joan O'Brien and Eleanor Methot.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Lekakos of Biddeford and James Nicholas (Julie Bernier) of Buxton; his grandchildren, Jacob Nicholas of Waterboro, Jenna Perk (Josh) of Holly Springs, Peter Lekakos and Steven Lekakos of Biddeford; his great grandchild Amelia Perk of Holly Springs; his siblings, Virginia Bergeron (Maurice) of Biddeford, William Nicholas (Christine) of Biddeford, Kathryn Eisenhaure (Edward) of Suffield, CT, Michael Nicholas of Biddeford and Debra Ouellette (Jeffrey) of Biddeford; and his close friends, Sandra McDonald, Don Anastasoff and Brenda Anastasoff.
