She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Martel and Amanda Martel (Tanguay); her siblings, Therese Sylvestre, Paul Martel and Cecile Boissonneault (Arthur); and her children, Jennifer Hamilton and Denis Houde.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur A. Houde; her daughters, Diane Fecteau (Bernard) of Biddeford and Celeste Thomason (Steve) of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Fecteau, Christine Edgar, Joshua Fecteau, Caitlin Neverisky, Amanda Pearson, Benjamin Murray, Christopher Murray, Michelle Savage, Tamara Cinnamon, Heidi Bernardis and Michael Houde. She is also survived by her sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
