It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Thurston of Biddeford, Maine, born in Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrin Morse and Mary McIsacc Morse; her son John Thurston; and her siblings, Daniel "Sonny" Morse and Jean Camire.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Morin (Marco) of Kennebunk and Paul Thurston of Acton; and her granddaughter Lauri Thurston.
