He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A Leach and Sadie M Leach (Demeritt); his wife Dorothy Z. Goodrich; his son Richard; his siblings, Bernard, Lloyd, Stanley, Beatrice Rowell and Lillian Goodrum; and his great grandchild Gracey Lon Wakefield.
He is survived by: his children, Michael E. Leach (Sherry), Patricia A. Littlefield (Arthur) and Susan J. Black (Lon); and his daughter-in-law Holly Leach. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was awarded the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellow award from the Lions Clubs International Foundation for dedicated humanitarian services.
