With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Metayer (Biddeford, Maine), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doris left this world on April 7, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henri Boutin and Imelda Boutin (Jacques); her husband Henry Metayer; and her brother Robert Boutin. She is survived by: her friends, Gloria, Sister Annette, Yvette, Pauline and Leo; her children, Bob Metayer (Starla) of Roggen, CO, Nancy Danis (Bill) of Dayton, ME, Mark Metayer (Donna) of Biddeford, ME, Guy Metayer (Denise) of Lyman, ME and Ann Cote (Jeff) of Biddeford, ME.; and her sister Priscille Corliss. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Memorial Chapel (480 Elm St, Biddeford, ME 04005). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
