He was predeceased by: his father Leo. He is survived by: his parent Violet Mercier (Forcier); his children, Brianna Thomas (Steve), Destiny Mercier and Derek Mercier; his grandsons, Logan Thomas, Owen Thomas and Stellan Mercier; and his siblings, Claire Boucher (Roland) and Raymond Mercier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
